About Sim Punter

Sim Punter was designed with one thing in mind - Fun. 

As a young fella I used to visit my Grandad and we’d watch the races on TV or listen to the radio while we were out fishing. We'd pick out which horse was going to win based on its name, what colour the jockey was wearing or what number he wore, enjoying the race for what it is - an excitement, adrenaline filled couple of minutes of fun. Fast forward 15 years and  a casual “I bet you a million dollars number 7 wins” while out with mates at the pub turned into a complicated version of our old game with a score chart of how many millions we owed each other on the back of a beer coaster - and that's how the idea of Sim Punter came about.

When it comes to following the races you're not having fun when you're loosing money, so we decided it's better to try and teach everyone how to win, or let them feel the excitement of having a bet without actually spending anything. We want our players to get into the excitement, fun and glamour of racing. Start following their favourite horse, jockey or trainer like they would their favourite footy team or player, and support the local clubs and getting down to the track with friends for a few drinks and some good times in the sun.

We've got a heap of new features and functionality to bring to you in the coming months as Sim Punter Grows, and while we're only new we've got a bright future ahead of us, and we hope you'll join us for the journey, and maybe the odd party or two.
